Serap Jangbu Sherpa, working alongside with the Korean Teacher Education Workers Union the Chungnam Team visited Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School in Mandandeupur Nagarpalika-3, Naya Gaun, Kavre, before the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, the school children faced challenges in conducting group study sessions and engaging in play due to a lack of adequate space.

To address this issue, the Serap Lee Foundation, in partnership with the Korean Teacher Education Workers Union’s Chungnam Team, took the initiative to construct a spacious hall on the top floor of the school building. The construction began in 2019, and the images you see here capture moments from the building phase.

This collaborative effort aimed to create a better learning environment for the students, ensuring they had a dedicated space for both academic and recreational activities.
