On December 15, 2022, Serap Jangbu Sherpa, alongside the Tatopani Education Service Cooperation team from South Korea, which included donors, visited the Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School. The purpose of their visit was to monitor the progress of a construction project funded by their generous donations. The funds were specifically allocated for the construction of a second floor in one of the school buildings. This new addition included three additional classrooms, two toilets, and a shower facility, significantly enhancing the school’s infrastructure.

By January 15, 2023, the construction project was successfully completed and officially handed over to the responsible persons at Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School. A special ceremony was held to mark this significant milestone. During the ceremony, Serap Jangbu Sherpa, the founder of the Serap Lee Foundation, and Mr. Le se Jung, the founder of Tatopani Education Service Cooperation from South Korea, were warmly welcomed with traditional flower garlands. The event was attended by the donors and the entire team from Tatopani Education Service Cooperation.

During the ceremony, both Serap Jangbu Sherpa and Mr. Le se Jung presented scholarships amounting to Rs. 13,000/- (NPR) and Rs. 12,700/- (NPR) respectively to some of the school children who are economically disadvantaged and in dire need of financial support. This gesture was a testament to their commitment to fostering good fellowship with their neighbors and supporting the community’s efforts to achieve their dreams.

The improved infrastructure has had a positive impact on the school, with an increasing number of children enrolling each year. The new facilities have not only provided a better learning environment but have also encouraged more families to send their children to school, thereby contributing to the overall development of the community.
