Empowering Futures: Serap Lee Foundation’s Three-Year Commitment to Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School

On January 21, 2024, Serap Jangbu Sherpa from the Serap Lee Foundation, in cooperation with Tatopani Education Service Cooperative, South Korea (including members of the Korean Teacher Education Workers Union Chungnam Team) and a donor, visited Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School in Mandandeupur Municipality – 3, Naya Gau, Kavre. The primary purpose of the visit was to show the donor how their generous contributions had been utilized and to highlight the impact of their funding on the school and its students.

The team spent two days at the school, engaging in various activities aimed at fostering a deeper connection with the local community. They held interactive sessions with the parents of the students, discussing the importance of education and the role of technology in modern learning. Additionally, a cultural exchange program was organized, allowing both the visitors and the school community to share and celebrate their respective traditions, fostering mutual understanding and respect.

Serap Jangbu Sherpa, the founder of the Serap Lee Foundation, expressed his commitment to the school’s long-term development. He announced plans to provide continuous support to Shree Jana Prabhat Primary School for the next three years. This ongoing assistance is expected to further improve the school’s infrastructure, educational resources, and overall learning environment, ensuring that the students receive a quality education that prepares them for future challenges.
