Bridging Cultures and Empowering Education: A Visit to Shree Manichood Basic School

On January 21st, 2018, a significant visit took place at Shree Manichood Basic School, located in Shankharapur Nagar Palika – 8, Bhulbu, Nepal. The visit was led by Mr. Serap Jangbu Sherpa, representing the Serap Lee Foundation, and Mr. Le Se Jung from the Tatopani Education Service Cooperation in South Korea. The purpose of their visit was to support the school and its students by distributing essential school supplies, including stationery and clothing, as well as other necessary items required by the school.

During their two-day stay, the delegates engaged in various activities aimed at fostering a deeper connection between the two cultures. They conducted a cultural exchange program, which allowed the students and staff to learn about South Korean traditions and values. Additionally, they held interactive sessions with the children and their parents, discussing the importance of education and addressing any concerns or challenges faced by the families.

The visit not only provided material support to the school but also strengthened the bond between the local community and the international organizations. The efforts of Mr. Serap Jangbu Sherpa and Mr. Le Se Jung were highly appreciated by the school administration, parents, and students, as their contributions had a lasting impact on the educational environment and the lives of the children.
