Global Hands, Local Hearts: Serap Lee Foundation and Tatopani Education Service Support Shree Yuba Barsha Basic School

On January 10th, 2018, a significant visit took place at Shree Yuba Barsha Basic School, located in Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality, Chaurikharka-1, Monjo, Solukhumbu. The visit was led by Mr. Serap Jangbu Sherpa, representing the Serap Lee Foundation, and Mr. Le Se Jung from the Tatopani Education Service Cooperation, a South Korean organization. The purpose of their visit was to support the school and its students by providing essential educational materials and fostering cultural exchange.

During their visit, they distributed a variety of much-needed supplies, including school stationery, clothing, and sports equipment, all of which were identified as necessary for the school’s operations and the students’ well-being. In addition to the material support, the visit also emphasized cultural exchange and community engagement. Mr. Sherpa and Mr. Jung interacted with the students, their parents, and the school staff, fostering a deeper understanding and connection between the visiting organizations and the local community.

This initiative not only addressed the immediate needs of the school but also strengthened the bond between the local community and the international organizations, highlighting the importance of global collaboration in education and cultural exchange.
