Serap Lee Foundation: Building Dreams at Bulbule School, Lamjung
On January 6, 2015, Mr. Serap Jangbu Sherpa, the founder and chairman of the Serap Lee Foundation, along with the Tatopani Education Service and the Korean Teacher Education Workers Union Chungnum Team, visited a school in Bulbule, Lamjung. This remote village, located approximately 170–180 kilometers from Kathmandu, is accessible via a 6–8 hour drive along the Prithvi Highway, branching off toward Besishahar, the district headquarters of Lamjung.
During their visit, Serap Jangbu Sherpa and the Chungnum Team dedicated an entire day to engaging with the school childrens, observing their performances, and understanding their needs. Recognizing the challenges faced by the students, who come from underprivileged backgrounds, the team generously donated shoes and jackets to the children. These essential items were provided to help the students cope with the harsh weather conditions and improve their overall well-being.
The children of Bulbule, like many in rural Nepal, face significant hardships due to poverty and limited access to resources. The Serap Leep Foundation remains committed to supporting such communities, ensuring that children have the basic necessities and opportunities to thrive. This visit was a testament to the foundation’s mission of making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Korean Teacher Education Workers Union Chungnum Team for their collaboration and support in this meaningful initiative. Together, we continue to strive for a brighter future for these deserving children.
Join us in our efforts to uplift underprivileged communities. Your support can make a lasting impact on the lives of these children.
